An all-round role model who loved God and people with a passion, she recently represented her school at a Rotary leadership camp. She coached netball, loved volleyball, singing and horse riding, and was a bronze Duke of Edinburgh award recipient. She was in line to be head girl.
FLOYD FERNANDES, 16
Ahighly talented musician who was active in many areas at school. He was a humble pupil who was a good all-rounder and loved sports. On the Bebo webpage of his friend Tom Hsu - who also died - pictures of Floyd show him smiling at the camera, surrounded by friends.
TARA GREGORY, 16
A friendly, mature and determined sportswoman, and a brave, selfless and academic pupil. Photos on Toms webpage show her competing with friends at video games and smiling while covered in black sand at a friends birthday party.
TOM HSU, 16
Cheerful and with a great sense of humour, he overcame cerebral palsy. He loved God, gave his best in all he did and became a peer support leader this year. His webpage has photos of him and his friends on previous camping adventures, bonfire nights and trips to Rainbows End theme park.
PORTIA McPHAIL, 16
Agentle, kind, mature girl who loved playing and coaching netball, she was highly regarded by her peers. She was an organised and motivated student.A video of her and a friend lip-synching and dancing to a High School Musical song features on a friends webpage.
ANTHONY MULDER, 16
A talented boy who recently represented his school at a Rotary leadership camp, he loved the outdoors, sports and cooking. He was a fun person, with a great sense of humour, who lived to serve the Lord, especially through childrens ministries.
TONY McCLEAN, 29
An amazing teacher who loved God, life, students and sport. He had a passion for serving people and had made a huge contribution as the schools sports coordinator. His father, the Rev John McClean, is a pastor at a Baptist church.
